A missing two-year-old has been found dead in the mouth of a crocodile.
Pashun Jeffery, the 20-year-old mother of Taylen Mosley, was found dead in her St. Petersburg apartment and was reported missing Thursday. Florida.
She had been stabbed multiple times, police said Friday.
Police Chief Anthony Holloway said the child’s father, Thomas Mosley, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
The police chief added that the child was found near Dale Holmes Park, near Lake Maggiore and nearly 10 miles from his mother’s apartment.

“We didn’t want to find him this way, but at least we can now bring some closure to that family,” Mr Holloway told a news conference.
Family members saw Jeffrey and her children on Wednesday and asked the apartment manager on Thursday to check that they could not reach her, police said.
The search for the boy has included dogs, drones and federal and state law enforcement.
The boy’s cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
Police added that Thomas Mosley had wounds on his arms and hands after being examined at the hospital.
He remained in hospital on Friday but did not speak to detectives and asked for a lawyer, according to police.
