Clemson vs. Georgia Tech Scores: Live Game Updates, College Football Scores, Today’s NCAA Top 25 Highlights

Atlanta – No. 4 Clemson has begun to shake off a dynamic Georgia Tech team, scoring 10 points in the third quarter to end the game 24-10. Tigers quarterback DJ Uiagalelei had his ups and downs, but he ended nine games with a 74-yard drive and gave the team some cushion late in the game with a 9-yard touchdown.

Touchdowns are critical for a Tigers team that hasn’t had much success maintaining drive. For the first time all night, coach Dabo Swinney picked up the tempo and kept the Georgia Tech defense, who stayed in the backcourt long enough for Uiagalelei to play when needed.

Clemson’s defense has been relentless at this point. The Tigers lost seven tackles, one of which was a sack, and limited the Yellow Jackets to 4 yards per game. The Jackets’ running game has been stagnant, with five players totaling just 67 yards on 21 carries for an average of 3.2 yards per carry. Clemson’s defense is widely regarded as one of the best in the game, and it excelled on Labor Day night.
