NYU holds women’s soccer draw at home

Hoboken, NJ (September 11, 2022) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer team defeated NYU 0-0 at home on Sunday afternoon. This is the Ducks’ second and final game in the 18th annual Engineering Cup.junior goalie Dana Perry Finished the game with four saves.

NYU put some pressure on Stevens at the start of the first half. The two sides entered the game after five minutes into the game when Perry saved a Violet shot. The Ducks’ backline held strong in the first 45 minutes, with Stevens going into the half to tie 0-0, though NYU’s offense had five shots and two corners.

The second half was similar to the first. However, in the second quarter of the game, the Ducks were able to increase the offensive pressure, made a three-pointer, and won three corner kicks. Despite their best efforts, both Stevens and NYU failed to net and ended in a 0-0 draw.
