We chatted with Greg Lombardo, Netflix VP/Head of Live Experiences, about bringing this experience to Minneapolis!
What inspired the Queens Ball Bridgerton experience?
The Queen’s Ball: The Bridgetown Experience is inspired by the hit Shondaland series on Netflix, which has captured the hearts of fans around the world who are connected to every aspect of the series – from the delightful characters And the amazing actors who brought them to life, to the costume design and art, and setting the direction for the soundtrack. We partnered with Fever for The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience to create a similarly unique fan experience designed to immerse attendees in the luxury world of Bridgerton and bring it to them.
What are you looking forward to bringing this experience to Minneapolis?
Minneapolis is known for its vibrant arts scene, with events that span culture, theater, music and food. It’s only fitting that we bring the Queen’s Ball: Bridgetown experience to this bustling city. As we’ve seen at previous locations, we’re sure that both local residents and visiting guests will be fully immersed in the experience.
What can attendees get out of this experience?
The Queen’s Ball is based on the world of Bridgeton, but there are plenty of surprises here for avid fans and the uninitiated. The experience includes theatrical performances and immersive rooms, including a visit to Madame Delacroix’s fashion house, admiring clothing from the Bridgetown collection, picking up accessories to enhance your ensemble, and stopping to pose at the underground painting studio The most flamboyant pose and a much-anticipated visit with the Queen in an attempt to win her Majesty’s favor.
What do you hope attendees get out of this experience?
Bridgeton effortlessly transports viewers into a reimagined Regency-era London through its characters, costumes, designs and soundtrack. The Queen’s Ball: The Bridgetown Experience creates a similarly unique experience designed to immerse attendees in the luxurious world of Bridgetown. This experience is an opportunity for people of all ages, backgrounds and interests to come together for a fun and memorable evening. While some guests choose to dress in Regency style, we encourage all to present their best personal style with a royal attitude.
